Creation Cue (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides premium Wear OS watch faces and specialized complication utility applications. This policy outlines our commitment to your privacy and explains how we handle data across our entire portfolio of over 110+ products.
1. Data Access and Collection
We prioritize your privacy and do not collect personal, sensitive, or identifying information for storage on our servers. All data remains on your device.
Complication Data & Customization (Flags App)
Our utility applications (such as the Flags Complication) allow users to input text and select icons for display on their watch faces.
Usage: User-selected icons and custom text labels are stored locally on your Wear OS device using SharedPreferences. This data is only used to populate complication slots on your active watch face and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
Health and Fitness Data (Watch Faces)
Our watch faces access real-time sensor data, including Heart Rate, Step Count, and Physical Activity, through the Wear OS platform.
Usage: This data is accessed solely to display it on the watch face interface. It is processed locally and is never shared, stored, or transmitted off your device.
Referrer Information (Companion App)
Our companion app uses the Google Play Install Referrer API.
Usage: Used to identify the source of your visit to our “Featured Designs” carousel to improve our marketing. This information is non-identifying.
2. Data Retention & Deletion
We do not maintain any cloud-based storage or permanent databases for user data.
- Retention: Local settings (like flag selection or custom text) persist on your device only as long as the app is installed.
- Deletion: Uninstalling our application or watch face immediately and permanently removes all locally stored preferences and cached data from your device memory.
User Control & Transparency
You have full control over the permissions granted to our apps:
- You may revoke “Sensors” or “Physical Activity” permissions at any time via Wear OS System Settings.
- Settings changed within our utility apps are updated instantly and can be cleared by the user.
3. Security
We follow industry standards for local data handling to ensure that data accessed by our apps is handled securely within the Android/Wear OS sandbox environment, preventing unauthorized access by other applications.
